2015 Volkswagen Golf review: Our expert's take

Redesigned for 2015, the Volkswagen Golf is available as a two- or four-door hatchback. Power comes from a gas or diesel four-cylinder engine, and the five-seat Golf competes with the Mazda3 hatchback, Hyundai Elantra GT and Mini Cooper. Volkswagen's performance-oriented GTI is related to the Golf.

The Golf has been redesigned for 2015, and is now larger and lighter than its previous generation.
